Toell leant against a tree and scanned the sky.  The sun was setting, and the sky was tinted a strange red-purple color.  In front of Toell was a large clearing, flat with overgrown grass.  Behind her was a thick forest, and about a five minute walk through that forest was the highway that passed through the town that Toell lived in.  Standing on the edge of the clearing, Toell could faintly hear the sound of the many cars and trucks passing by. All of a sudden, a twig snapped behind Toell.  She turned around quickly, and she saw a person standing beside the tree against which Toell leant.

Our First.... Author's Note:  Ok so, I've had this multi-chapter story swimming in my head so I finally decided to get it started before I lost the drive, lol.  Basically this is a story about Fang and Vanille and "chapters" throughout their lives growing up together, not a day-by-day thing.  Anywho, each chapter will get it's own separate rating, some will be SFW while others may not be, just so ya'll have a heads up, lol.  No spoilers here, and there will probably be a lot of things that don't flow with the game seeing as I don't really know much about their past, etc, so I guess it's kind of AU-ish?  Also, I don't have much experience wri
